Earlier today, two of the admins of The Hunger Games Philippines were able to meet the president of Pioneer Films, Mr. Wilson Yuloque, at SM Mall of Asia. During the meeting, the two parties were able to discuss the future plans for the organization and the movie and it was agreed upon that HUNGER GAMES PHILIPPINES WILL WORK WITH PIONEER FILMS IN THE PROMOTION AND MARKETING OF THE HUNGER GAMES IN THE PHILIPPINES!
As mentioned above, HUNGER GAMES PHILIPPINES will play a major role in reaching out to Filipinos who aren’t aware of The Hunger Games in any way (and to other HG fans), creating a buzz and building clamor that will lead to the release of the film on March 2012. One of the ideas raised by the administrators earlier regarding the marketing of The Hunger Games in the country would be the holding of several promos and contests, one of which was the Hunger Games Philippines Quiz Night that was started last night. (We would like to thank again everyone who participated in the quiz, as it was a BIG SUCCESS!). Mr. Yuloque was delighted that he pledged to give Hunger Games Philippines MOCKINGJAY PINS TO SERVE AS PRIZES FOR THE WINNING CONTESTANTS OF THE VARIOUS CONTESTS THAT WE’LL BE HOLDING! In addition to that, he also pledged several other merchandises such as SHIRTS, BOOKMARKS, AND POSTERS!
Inspired with the kindness of Mr. Yuloque, we will be opening another contest for the Pinoy Tributes this month: CHRISTMAS IN PANEM! A contest where you can unleash your creativity that will show how you perceive the celebration of Christmas in Panem! Fun part is that ANY FORM OF MEDIA WILL BE ACCEPTED! Freehand drawing, prose or poetry, short story, film…you are given the freedom to do ANYTHING! Criteria and details to follow.
BUT THAT’S NOT ALL. How we wish we can divulge the BIGGER PLANS FOR 2012, but if we do that, what’s left to anticipate in the coming months? But we promise, what we mentioned earlier will PALE IN COMPARISON to what we have in store for next year! You have to trust us on this one. Maybe, we might have a hunger games style contest for one very much coveted merchandise in February. Something like that, BUT BIGGER AND BOLDER.

The Hunger Games Trilogy.
it is officially complete! I am really happy with how these came out. I have to say, Catching Fire would have to have been the hardest out of the three, just because most of the colors were dark. So there it is, The Hunger Games Trilogy! I really hope everyone enjoys this set paintings I did for the books! There might be more to come..some paintings or drawings of scenes from the books, but for now I am really happy with these! enjoy!
